Overview
SummitCoreTech offers IT and technology solutions across several service lines. The website had years of content built up, but much of it existed in isolation — strong pages with almost nothing linking to them, and search engines struggling to understand how the site was structured.
The Challenge
A crawl of the site pointed to a structural problem more than a content problem.
- Important service pages had very few internal links pointing to them.
- Search engines were missing or slow to index newer pages.
- Related topics lived on separate pages with no connection between them.
Our Strategy
The plan centered on giving the site’s existing content a clear internal structure.
Phase 1: Site Architecture
- Mapped out how service pages related to one another.
- Identified orphaned pages with no internal links pointing in.
- Built a logical linking structure between related service topics.
Phase 2: Internal Linking & Content
- Added contextual internal links across existing blog and service content.
- Expanded thin pages with more relevant, topic-specific detail.
- Updated navigation paths so key pages were easier to reach.
Results
- Crawlability improved as search engines found and indexed pages more consistently.
- Internal linking strengthened across every major service category.
- Content depth increased on pages that previously offered very little detail.
Client Testimonial
“We had good content buried in a bad structure. Once everything was properly linked together, search engines finally started treating our site the way it deserved.” — Operations Manager, SummitCoreTech
